DECA - International Academic Club
Students pursuing studies in Marketing, Business Management and Entrepreneurship will benefit from the many involved activities of DECA (Delta Epsilon Chi). The Association of Marketing Students is a national organization providing opportunities for students to participate in activities specific to career goals. This club is dedicated to the pursuit of creativity and innovation in the marketplace.

Phi Theta Kappa
Phi Theta Kappa is the International Honor Society that recognizes academic achievement and provides opportunities for students to participate in honors, leadership and service activities. The benefits of membership include nationwide recognition of scholarly excellence, scholarships, access to prestigious universities, special graduation certificates and transcript notations, leadership opportunities as chapter officers, and fellowship and service opportunities at SBCC and in the community. To join, students must have taken at least 12.0 units and earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Club hikes on local trails to examine flora and fauna, a spider walk for Halloween
Elementary school biology education presentations
Excursions to the SB or LA Natural History Museum and/or SB Zoo
A camping trip to Monterey Bay or the Channel Islands in the spring
Tidepooling and/or Whale Watching fieldtrips
