It is very important that you take your Assessment test today so that you can register for your classes! Visit the website www.sbcc.edu/assessment to view sample questions and to detrmine which Math test you may be eligible to take.
The Standard English Assessment Test is located in Room EBS-309.
The Advanced English Assessment Test is located in Room A-211.

Don't miss the mandatory information meeting. Today you will receive important information about attending SBCC as an F-1 visa student. You must attend this meeting in order to register!!
We will start at 8:30 am in the Helen Pedotti Courtyard (behind the Administration Building).

Add and Drop deadline
This is the last day to add or drop classes for the Fall semester, and receive a refund. If you will not attend a class and hope to receive money back, go to Pipeline to drop the class.
Remember, all international students must maintain enrollment in 12.0 units!!
read more »Pass/No Pass Petition deadline
This is the last day to submit a petition to change the course grading option for your classes. Make sure to speak with an Academic Counselor and your instructor before you decide to take a class Pass/No Pass, as there are some restrictions.

Priority Filing for Degree
FALL 2009 Degree and Certificate Priority Filing Period begins September 14, 2009 and ends October 29, 2009.
Students can apply for Fall 09 degrees and certificates by doing the following:
1 Students with transcripts from other colleges or universities will need to see an academic counselor on a walk in basis in the Counseling Office, or meet with Jennifer Hamilton in the International Office.
2. Students with SBCC transcripts only may apply online SBCC ASSOCIATE DEGREE AND CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS site

Today, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States and on the second Monday of October in Canada. Thanksgiving dinner is held on this day, usually as a gathering of family members and friends.
